Bill Pratt – Founder & President
Bill has been buying and selling trailers since 2018 and built a strong reputation for honesty and reliability in the industry. As the former Director of Trailer Sales at Brody Transportation, he developed a national network that includes leasing companies, trucking fleets, dealers, and manufacturers. Bill’s background includes trailer parts distribution and truck leasing—and before entering the commercial world, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
John Thormann – Co-Owner & Chief Operating Officer
A U.S. Army veteran, John began his professional journey in 1991 by co-founding a national medical device repair company. Since then, he’s held leadership roles in the medical, recycling, advertising, and transportation industries. John’s introduction into the trucking industry started by selling trailer parts across the Mid-Atlantic region with Brody Transportation and later Hale Trailer. Today, he leads SLB’s operations with a sharp eye for growth and efficiency.
Kristyn Magness – Office Manager
Born and raised in Baltimore, Kristyn is the multitasking powerhouse of SLB. She manages operations, serves as Executive Assistant to the President, and balances it all while raising three boys as a proud baseball mom. Kristyn previously worked at Brody Transportation, where she formed a close professional bond with Bill Pratt that led her to join SLB. She keeps the team running with a blend of heart, hustle, and humor.

Gavin brings a customer-first mindset and sharp industry insight to every deal he handles. He works closely with clients to understand their needs and match them with the best options in our inventory.
